I have a Coleman now and it never was a great ice chest. I’ve been watching ice retention videos and most of the winners are real heavy and that makes it less practical for everyone to move it. I like the pelican but is over 55 lbs empty.

I don’t mind spending 200-400 for it. We were just out for two days and had no ice the second night. As much as we will be out camping on the boat in rivers and lakes with no ice readily available. I thought marine was just stainless metal on them but I get them being all white and in the sun with no real shade.
