Preparing for backingpacking adventures.

When packing for this time of year in the Ozark Mountains, you want to plan for cold and warm weather. The weather changes quickly in October here. Bring extra things like water shoes, rain gear,and fire starting kit. I'm bringing hammock and tarp for sleeping and shelter this time,but I am bringing an extra blanket to lay under neath me for cool drafts that come up through the mountains at night. You may want to take a pair of gloves and stocking cap (beanie) as well.
