Did I Forget Anything?
So what should you bring with you? First off you need to ask yourself is anyone going with you? Second is how long will you be out there? Camping can be a fun and cheap family activity or vacation. But you do need certain supplies to manage life in the great outdoors, especially if you are not going solo. Here we will give you a basic pack list of essentials for a family of 4 to take with you camping. And remember to check with your campground to see if they supply items like picnic tables, grills, or firewood. Also check to see if a fully functional restroom is available. Consider doing a test-run in your backyard if your family is new to camping. I highly recommend always setting up a new tent at least once for two reasons. One, because you need to check that the tent came with all its parts and there is no defects or damage. Second is you will look like a pro setting up at the campsite, because you took that practice run.

Choose outdoor gear wisely for activities like canoeing, backpacking, or camping. Remember ," quality before quantity". But remember also, a name brand product doesn't mean quality sometimes. There are a lot of companies out there pumping out the latest outdoor gear. If you shop around you can save yourself quite a bit of cash. So do your homework. Read your product information. Compare with other brand's information. Read the product reviews especially! You are gonna want gear that can withstand the elements as well be rugged enough to be rolled, unrolled, packed, unpacked, folded, unfolded, etc. Pay attention to things like what materials the product uses. Is it light? Is it durable? Is it rustproof or waterproof? Is it double zippered, double stitched? Also keep in mind when looking for outdoor gear, items that can perform "double-duty" or multiple tasks around camp. For example having sporks instead of spoons and forks.
