CAMPING KNIVES AND TOOLS

Prandi German Style Hatchet

  • I purchased this because the price, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much. But damn, this axe is way better than I expected. It's sturdy and reliable and comes nicely sharpened. I'm blow away! I chose this hatchet above others of similar price because of the heavier head weight. This one, at 800 grams (28 oz), is about a half pound heavier than a standard 20 ounce hatchet found here in the USA.

  • German Style Hatchet

  • 15" overall. 4.25" cutting edge. 6.5" carbon steel axe head.

  • American Hickory handle.
